Selectivity Control of CO2 Reduction over Pt/g-C3N4 Photocatalysts under Visible Light

Photocatalysts based on g-C3N4 have been investigated in the CO2 reduction reaction under visible light irradiation (λ = 397, 427, 452 nm). were prepared by melamine calcination at 500–600 °C with further platinum deposition (0.1–1.0 wt.%). The effect of preparation conditions and method physicochemical properties activity photocatalysts was studied. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, absorption diffraction, high resolution transmission electron microscopy, UV-Vis low temperature nitrogen adsorption techniques. It has found that efficiency is governed surface area presence metallic state, while optimal content 0.5 wt. %. highest rate achieved over Pt/g-C3N4 photocatalyst 13.2 µmol h−1 g−1 (397 nm), which exceeds pristine 7 times. most active calcining air 600 °C, followed modification (0.5
